Given that it is named “warm coast”, the Costa Cálida has an indisputable allure for overseas buyers. From super affordable apartments to fantastic villas, here is our pick of properties located there. Plus, all of these properties are under a 15-minute drive away from the beach.  

The Costa Cálida is situated between the Costa Blanca in the north and the Costa Almeria in the south. Located in Murcia, the coastline stretches for 250 kilometres and includes vibrant resort towns such as La Manga and Mar Menor. As well as this gorgeous coastline, the Costa Cálida boasts of amazing 18-hole golf courses.

With an annual average temperature of 18°C and 315 days of sunshine a year, the Costa Cálida has an outstanding appeal to those seeking much longer summers than the UK offers. The hottest month is August with an average high of 29°C and an average low of 22°C. January is the coldest month, but even then, it promises an average daily maximum of 16°C.

The Costa Cálida is served by both Murcia and Alicante airport. While Murcia is closer, Alicante airport has a steady stream of flights to the UK, whatever the season.
