She is an ambassador for UP – The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement. Her writing has been published by Scope, the Royal College of Midwives, and the Royal Society of Medicine. Having an Australian mother meant that Scarlett spent every childhood Christmas in the sunshine, this incensed her to write for Your Overseas Home.
