Scarlett's love for writing started with an English degree at the University of Bristol. Currently, she is studying for her MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck University. Scarlett has worked as a content writer for a children’s book company, Little Box of Books. Following that, she had a brief stint as a podcast editor for The Rest is History. Alongside this, Scarlett writes on her experiences of having a physical disability, cerebral palsy. She is an ambassador for UP – The Adult Cerebral Palsy Movement. Her writing has been published by Scope, the Royal College of Midwives, and the Royal Society of Medicine. Having an Australian mother meant that Scarlett spent every childhood Christmas in the sunshine, this incensed her to write for Your Overseas Home.
