Erin is the resident Copywriter for Property Guides, producing regular content such as news, articles and guides.
Graduating in 2014 with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, Erin went on to hold copywriting positions within the retail sector. Immersing herself into the world of ecommerce, she built a solid understanding of how the customer mind-set and journey can inform and drive written content. She now uses a similar approach when writing for a property-based audience.
Erin took a career break in 2018 to travel the world for 7 months. She delights in harking back to her time spent in Australia, New Zealand and Europe when writing articles for those wishing to buy property overseas.
Publications written for include the Wimbledon Guardian, Surrey Comet, Kingston Guardian, Richmond and Twickenham Times and the Sutton and Croydon Guardian. She has also built on her experience during stints at the Times Magazine and the Daily Express.
We interviewed Chloe Williams from our partner, Beaux Villages, on buying in South West France. Chloe has lived in both France and Spain for over 20 years and she’s worked in international real estate for a long time, building up a wealth of expert knowledge. As someone who has made that move over to Europe, she’s got real first-hand experience.
Ah, La Belle France (beautiful France)! Who hasn’t dreamed of visiting one day, or even living in France for good? Whether you’re drawn to boulevards, cafés and galleries, would love an affordable country cottage to grow veggies and keep chickens, or long to sun yourself all year on the ritzy Côte d’Azur, there’s something in France for every taste.
There has been a lot of speculation over whether Brits will be able to access French healthcare after Brexit. Thankfully, we have some reassuring news! The European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is being replaced with a Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC). This means that Brits travelling to France, and indeed all EU countries, will still be able to receive free, or cheaper, state-provided medical care.
